FDA's prior stance on prescribing ivermectin:

New stance on prescribing ivermectin for COVID:

quote:

“FDA explicitly recognizes that doctors do have the authority to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID,” Ashley Cheung Honold, a Department of Justice lawyer representing the FDA, said during oral arguments on Aug. 8 in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

How shocking, a medicine that was given to humans over a billion times with statistically irrelevant adverse reactions before Covid is not dangerous.

Still we will see people believing the government

Seriously, how can anyone take anything the FDA, CDC, NOH, or federal government said during covid seriously?

I'm sure there are a lot of antibiotics, fungicides, antiparasitics that work well across species.

Loved how they said ivermectin was dangerous and should be banned while every drug they approve with a commercial on TV has 45 seconds of side effects including death read out.

Such as?

I suspect there may be others and was sincerely wondering. Ivermectin is the only thing I I’ve used on cattle that is used on people- to my knowledge. We showed pigs for a stint. I know a lot of what helps humans can help pigs.

In their defense, it was tough to take the FDA seriously before Covid as well.

If you've got COVID ask your physician about Remdesivir or Paxlovid.

If want to try something for dogs and cats get a flea collar.

Water's wet, the sky is blue, and the government lies to us.

I believe the deal is this...

In order to maintain Emergency Use Authorization status for the COVID vaccine there could not be an alternative treatment that was effective AND easily distributable to the masses.

Some of these antiparasitics met those two criteria, thus they were demonized by the government, big pharma and the media. They needed to maintain EUA status for the vaccines.

The reason why monoclonal antibodies were not demonized is due to the fact that monoclonal antibodies did not meet the criterion of easily distributable. Monoclonal antibodies are difficult to produce on a mass scale compared to vaccines and drugs like ivermectin. Therefor monoclonals were not a threat to the EUA status of the COVID vaccine.

With that said, monoclonal antibodies developed from the COVID virus is a cure for COVID. It's just very expensive.

Prednisone is one. I'm taking them right now and my dog takes them sometimes when her skin allergies flair up

a large majority of agents used in humans can be used in animals (mammals). dosages will be greatly different. There are many exceptions as well. For example acetaminophen in cats is quite toxic.

end of the day we are all animals and function similarly.

That was never the argument. The argument was its stupid and it doesn’t work.

It is, and it doesn’t.
