WTF? She was really good in that movie. In fact, the entire cast was pitch perfect and elevated a ridiculous script into a very good movie.

Okay without looking at replies, I looked up the year (1990) and worldwideweb sources for 1990 actresses. From that review, and recalling the characteristics of the role: romantic, loving, vulnerable but strong, I think:
