You’re correct. My mistake.

I was thinking about Trumps book.

Some of the best industrial contractors in the country are based right here in Baton Rouge and south Louisiana. There is a lot of work to go around. Also a lot of international work performed by the companies out is BR

Madison does our critical work and Turner does cleaning work. We have a couple local companies that do welding projects and general plant maintenance.

Zachry for mechanical maintenance, SWAT for turnaround work, ISC for electrical, & BrandSafway for scaffolding/painting. See alot of Turner & Jacobs/Worley for mechanical maintenance in plants up & down the river in LA.

CitizenK, do we know each other? One of my best friends is LB’s right hand man. I’ve been to Providence multiple times.

Turner at our plant in St. Gabriel for year-round maintenance. Their SWS division comes in during turnarounds.

General Contractor is a term for commercial building not industrial.

I’ve seen the term general contractor used for industrial construction with project work. I work in projects and have worked on very large projects (major/mega projects) in multiple states. General contractors from my perspective (owner/operator side) and my experience are usually multi craft companies that manage the full scope on larger projects (not necessarily an EPC) and subcontract (usually piling, sometime crane rentals, I&E, insulation/paint, scaffold, specialty work, etc) some of the work out.

I was on a project a while back where we referred to Performance as the GC.

I haven't been to any shoots but have been there once before. My often times partner has asked me to go with him to pigeon shoots several times, but making money comes first. He has worked with them a lot whenever a unit is bath tubbed to make way for a new unit. They were going to be our contractor to dismantle Shell Yabucoa and re-erect in Libya but Qaddafi was taken out. They own a share of a Cairo based contractor with Saudis. This was back in 2011, we met with their head of dismantling and a guy over international projects whose name I forget.

My understanding is that Bay is sort of hobby for LB. The family is involved in a lot more businesses than Bay, but this is all hearsay to me.

Edit - I seem to remember that the intl guy's first name could be Jack.
