20-35 year old women seem to think its part of the costume today.

hopefully before that were to ever happen you’d let your employees know you’re a bitch and afraid of a glorified cold.

Saw an arse face wearing a mask at an outside bar serving I asked the manager what’s wrong with him does he have a communicable disease ? It made me very uncomfortable I didn’t want him near my food or drinks

Or his business was hard to run during the peak covid times because it spread amongst his employees and he had to shut down for a couple of weeks due to no employees.

Cases are currently rising but they have every summer. You can expect a rise in cases during the Jul-Sep when school starts, a lull until December - Feb, and then dip during the spring until it starts over again. This shouldn’t be surprising at this point.

Y'all know anyone who is still isolating after exposure and testing constantly? It's amazing how much damage 2020 did to the psyche of millions of Americans.

I just had the CoViD. I will only test in advance of appointments next week. I have two appointments. I do that because it is very contagious and I owe that to the other patients in the clinic.
I showed symptoms on Monday and a pretty much over it on Saturday. I still tested positive last night. No damaged psyche here. Not sure why you worry about my psyche tough guy.

Seems excessive.

What are the symptoms of COVID these days? A sniffle and a debilitating tickle in your throat that lasts 10-15 minutes?

It's weird right? It didn't go away. And the vaccine doesn't prevent transmission. So why aren't people dropping like flies, the way the news said they were 2 -3 years ago?

Because everyone has either had it or has been vaccinated. Most people have had both. This isn’t very hard to understand

It broke a lot of people mentally. Between Covid and Trump being elected, a large section of the country were bruised mentally and some have never fully recovered.

What gets me is the amount of people I still see wearing masks still to this day. Masks didn’t work back then and now, a full three and a half years later, people still wearing them make zero sense. I asked one lady in my office the other day why she still wears them and she basically said it was out of habit at this point. I still see people alone in their cars with them sometimes too. I wonder if it’s more of a comfort thing at this point, but then they aren’t comfortable so who knows. It’s strange. I don’t get if.

And weirdly, in my experience it’s about a 10:1 ratio of black people to any other race that are in masks.

A lot of stupid in this thread.

1. I don't want my employees getting covid.

2. I don't want my business shut down by a covid outbreak that will cost me money.

Most reasonable people prior to Covid already understood how to be careful regarding illness. I’m a conservative guy and most of the ones including myself understood to wash hands, not get in people’s personal space, not to go in public when sick etc.

When Covid hit, people went hysterical and adults who’ve never washed their hands in their entire lives or never avoided your personal space started becoming nazis about it. If you are running fever you stay home, pre or post Covid life. Being a mask and vaccine nazi you just look stupid. When you are against a vaccine under one president but want it mandated with a different president, that’s called hypocrisy and it shows you are making covid political. Same with wanting everything shutdown but all for riots and illegal immigrants coming in, both of which spread a virus they are supposedly terrified of.

Eta: Most old people I know, my entire life and I’m nearing 50, if they were sickly, avoided public areas during flu season. That’s what people have done forever, it’s just there’s another half of our population that didn’t catch on to that until Covid hit

Eta2: I don’t care if you wear a mask or are vaccinated, but don’t push for shutting down businesses, churches, etc and demand mask mandates and vaccines on me. If you are scared stay home. People went crazy, media can cause that. Unfortunately viruses kill, that’s what happens. Old sickly people should take precautions, don’t shut the world down over it

I work at Walmart and I still see a lot of customers and some employees that still wear masks. I try not to judge because some might have underlying medical issues but you know some are devout covidians.
