Our league which has always been a league where everyone drafts from home decided that we want to do a live in person draft .

Is there a software where the commish can put in all the draft picks live and it shows up on a tv screen or does everyone need to bring there own laptop and do it the same as normal

What I would like to do is the players call out the player they want then the software assigns that player to that persons team then it updates the board on who’s left then go to the next pick .

Is there a program that does that ?

Just get together and have everyone draft normally on their laptops. My league has been doing that for years. If you're in the same room together, you get the same effect. Talking shite, etc. Don't over complicate things

We have a draft board where everybody grabs their player and puts it up on the board when it’s their pick. The commissioner inputs the players onto the site.

That kind of program was available back in the early 2000s when I played. Look around a little.

You can use the cbs fantasy site.
We kind of do it old school. We do an auction draft and every owner throws out a player and everyone bids obviously.
We draft 13 players $100 budget, 8 starters 5 bench players.
For Covid we used the cbs site and everyone drafted online

I would highly recommend buying a physical board and the stickers that come with it. It’s way more fun than the software but if you want to go the software route then try clicky draft.

Enjoy the draft and win your league!

I remember when we each had a piece of paper and wrote our picks down. Then we would have to wait until the paper came in on Monday morning to manually do our scoring and find out who won.

We buy one of those draft boards every year. You pick your player then put him up on the board. Everyone is an adult and can cross a name off the list when he’s drafted. After about round 12 some names start getting repeated due to inebriation.

ETA
We don’t allow laptops or looking up players and stuff on your phone. That’s what pre draft prep work is for. Cheat sheets only.

The bigger the tits on the name board chic the more you have to pay.

I assume that's what you wanted to know.

We do the same thing. It’s always a blast. We also set a timer for picks and you have to take a shot if you blow through your allotted time.

FanDraft. Has a plugin that streams online as well incase you have someone that is remote.

Only thing that would make it perfect is if the software synced the picks with Yahoo/ESPN/etc. Commish has to manually enter the picks afterwards.

Exactly. CBS has a great package for this, and it's incredibly fun. Except for the commish who has to input the teams after the fact manually.

We use Clicky Draft every year. We have a Yahoo league but draft offline. I purchase Clicky Draft and send out links to those that can’t make it. They can use the link to take control of their team while you draft for all the others. You’d just have to input all of the results manually after you are done.
