The church isn't a place to be fed battle plans.

But you're not wrong. They're certainly stupidly flocking to that absolute tool of a dude.

Fair enough. I agree the church has failed at leading.

Some churches are actively leading in the wrong direction. There’s been a lot of discussion the past few years about churches that push young single men into marrying single mothers that suddenly decide it’s time to get right with Jesus once her hookup leaves her with a child and then ghosts her. This is causing some resentment among young men in those churches. This is just one example of the way feminism is starting to filter down into the congregations, but there are lots of others.

I believe the Church is equally important. Not all priests can relate and have trouble delivering...

This is actually a really deep point. So often people gravitate towards a poor message with flashy and engaging delivery over a rich message with meh delivery. It's a shame too but reality in many areas outside the church as well.

Eh, an easier look is what happened with the Methodist and the slippery slope that turned into an absolute cliff...

Other denominations have done the same or similar and those that haven't are being challenged at every turn...

Churches that are willing to compromise Biblical teachings for the touch feely things of this world cease to be churches and are nothing more than a congregation that is willing to trade being liked by the world rather than what it was called to be...

The Church is not of this world and is set apart...

Men still dominate the clergy in Christian churches. However, think of how much trouble we face in politics from the faceless bureaucracy. It's not just who is in the WH.

Christian churches also have a bureaucracy that's not giving the Sunday sermon. And those people are women. These days the men in charge don't have the gumption to tell them 'Just shut up and type.'

But they’re okay with letting them cover it up? Why aren’t we legally mandating clergy to the same expectations we have for literally everyone else??? What’s the justification for them to get a pass when we know in fact they have systematically covered up horrific child abuse in the past? They should not be afforded any trust to properly handle these situations, and they brought that on themselves.

The worst part, the motivation for them isn’t even protecting kids, it’s shielding themselves from criminal liability. They’re not worried about kids, they’re worried about what they actually care about, money.

And that is like the textbook definition of evil, any “Christian” that tells you otherwise is not a Christian.

"I am sure he regrets more his actual actions he is being prosecuted for. Dude is a massive hypocrite"

What is he charged with? If you knew what he was charged with and the bullshite behind it you wouldn't be making dumbass statements like that. You are one of the people he talks about, the follower.

And even tells women to be chaste, be nurturing, be innocent. (Yes, I am aware of his background, I am simply discussing his message, not necessarily his past behaviors)

Not sure a guy who talks about all the girls he sleeps with is all that virtuous. The guy has some valid points but he is a grifter. The rules for thee, not for me is strong with him.

Dude is charged with raping and sex trafficking kids and women. While dude is whining and crying about those charges he gets on twitter and bashes women. He's definitely not the brightest crayon in the box.

How many Pastors or Priests are delivering this message?

Literally almost every Sunday that I go to church I hear this message. My priest is a refugee from Poland and saw first hand what communism did to his family and preaches from that perspective. He doesn't avoid the political topics and speaks on them from a moral and biblical perspective.

Didn't the southern baptist just have a MASSIVE sexual abuse scandal in the news? Lots of coverups going back to the 60s?

No our educational system has just improved to the point, that believing in ghosts and 2,000 year old fairy tales is retarded.

Allow me to rephrase, you'd be hard pressed to find many christians who are okay with child sexual abuse or the cover-up of sexual abuse.

I give 0 fricks what he says.

Well, why don't you educate all of us as to the "Real story"? I'm sure you are 100% in the know so lay it on us.

Be sure to include your sources (Other than Tate) in your educating.
