They are taking one of the staff analysts and putting him on staff at OLB coach and moving the OLB coach to D line

Both of these coaches have been DC in the past

Both have been a HC, DC, and STs coach. Both have also worked with BK for multiple seasons.

There's some jinx with D-Line coaches and LSU. Didn't we have a new one every year since O became HC??

After the way that man spoke about "pay me" and "getting paid" on the way out, neither he, nor his Mother who started that lovely conversation that he quoted, should ever step foot on the LSU campus again.

Snatch Kyle Williams from Ruston HS as a placeholder. He knows a thing or two about DL play and apparently he enjoys coaching

A great idea. He is a fabulous football player and a better person.

Brian K. needs to get on the phone to Pete Jenkins and get him in here at least until Lindsey is back or a new coach is hired if needed. Probably should make him a well paid analyst since he's regarded as one of the best Dline coaches in football. His reputation alone could help close the deal on a couple of these highly rated defensive linemen.

Just an FYI, there’s a guy on On3 that’s apparently “someone” close to the program (he’s an insider and has even said Shea and Billy know who he is personally) and he says Coach Lindsey is in serious condition. Sounds like a pretty serious situation.

He's 81. He's not coaching or becoming an analyst again.

Less than zero, but a lot of people in here got upset about even joking about him coming back

Wonder if any recently retired former Tiger would be interested in filling in. Someone like Kyle Williams, maybe.

Probably not but if BK made that phone call to Pete and told him. Hey we want to come in as an analyst advisor, just watch film and watch practices at your pace I think the odds of him saying yes would be very very high. The guy loves football and loves LSU.

Spend a few dollars and bring Bo Davis or Karl Dunbar home.
