THE TROUGH: The End.

The end of this season will see the end of The Trough. It is with much sadness that I close The Trough, but it is time.

Dammit...I was wondering if this would happen with your comments of late when you posed them semi-apologizing about how it wasn't good.
Oh well, awesome run for the past couple of years and it is something to be proud of.
Do us a favor though and give us a heads up before you actually pull the plug after you do the last modifications (if you do I mean). Would be nice to archive such gold on my hard drive before it all becomes lost to cyberspace forever.

It will be missed. It was a part of my game week tradition as well. Tigerdroppings with no Trough during football season will be a little like Tiger Stadium with no Welcome To Death Valley sign. A piece will be missing.

Like many others, I am said to see it go. Reading The Trough - and laughing out loud at my desk - came to be one of those little steps in the process of transitioning to "Game Mode."

We are all gonna miss your version of highbrow humor. If you have the first couple of posts that started all of this (tigerbaiting the woman with the baby carriage, taking a "fulmer" on Sunday morning, etc.,) please put them up on the site. I was not a frequent poster, but did visit the site and enjoy it each week. Vaya con Dios amigo!

Thanks for the insanity! I've laughed out loud in every one I read. Try to drop one on us once in a while, especially duiring Florida or Alabama week.
