Nickel? He has first round pick potential at LB. At nickel he has average speed and potential.

Yeah he’s not playing nickel. He’s going to be an outstanding LB in college. He’s been the best player at Many since his sophomore year. Huge pick up by the staff.

Nickel in a 4-2-5 is essentially a LB/S hybrid.

I’m no recruiting guru but I’m really like how this class is turning out. I can care less what our ranking is, BK is putting together a really strong class. He is meeting all our needs. Now we need to get the big in-state DT and a few elite corners. Simmons would be the cherry on top.

Yeah, Singleton has the physicality to play around the LOS and coverage skills to line up against a TE/WR in the slot.
Very unique skillset IMO - kid is a dynamite pickup. Excited to watch him in P&G.
Matt House runs a 3-4, so I would technically classify Singleton as an OLB that plays on the strong side of formation. At 6’1.5” & 205-lbs., he has good length and the frame to bulk up to 220-225 lbs. after a year in the S&C program, IMO….

I just think we also get Simmons, McKinley, Durham and Mack. Some of the others I’m not sure of but I think we get these guys for whatever reason. I also think we land some of those OL guys that we’re hot on.
Like Bates, not sure? Not sure it’s over for CJ Jackson and I’m hoping we get one more surprise inside DT by seasons end. Either flip situation or someone emerges and we get on top of it then finish. I think it’ll be a good class and hopefully next year it just opens up big for us with a big year and our staff in their 3rd season building relationships.

He’s 210 now. The pros aren’t really looking for gigantic LBs anymore. If he gained that much he’d be 230 to 240. Devin White is only 238 and he is a monster.
I don’t doubt this guy’s frame could add it, but would they want him bigger than about 225? In today’s game the premium is more on speed, quickness and coverage ability.

So 20 pounds range like I said. I put 20-30 pounds because some sites have him at 200 and some 210. So basically you repeated me. Lol
