Mid 20s, single, decent job, grew up in AP, and ready to get out. I love AP, but not the place for a young and single male. Work is also in BR so wouldn't have to deal with commuting to and from BR every single day. Have lived on my own in apartments, but would like to try and find a nice little house. I'm just not that familiar with all the neighborhoods in BR, so really looking for info on like the Mid City, Broadmoor, Goodwood areas, and etc. School me and give me all the info I need to know. TIA.

I was in your same boat, and based by your username we may know each other. I bought a house in midcity in 2020 and been living there ever since. The neighbors on each side of me are college kids, but across the street are other young professionals.

I really enjoy it and I've had zero issues with any crime. I'm able to walk to bars, restaurants, and calandros easily. Prices are a little high, but I think they've plateaued for the time being.

Goodwood if you have a lot of money; Broadmoor if you don’t have much money; Tara if you’re somewhere in between.

Rent. Don't plan on living my entire adulthood in BR, but I ain't getting married anytime soon, so might as well move into the city for now.
