I had a friend who had a sister that exclusively dated women. He basically said "she's born that way and can't help it". I said "yeah that's a load of BS".

Ive seen a few of these surveys over the past couple of years and its the people saying Bi making the biggest increase. But generally when asked, the Bis have a strong preference for the opposite sex.

Its alot to do with the misfit, non-popular kids now finding a group that they can feel accepted into. Its always been that way with different trends, like the goth trend in the 90's. Difference is liberals and pushing this agenda and telling them that they are right and that they should be celebrated. Three kids from my sons highschool left and went to the performing arts school that is located at Northwestern. All were good kids, just nerdy and didnt really fit into any clicks. The two females came back two years later as blue haired lesbians, and the guy came back as a tranny who changed his name. Its really unbelievable the shite that is going on right in front of our eyes.

I agree, but the problem is that society as a whole typically pulled people back from the fringe groups. That's what orderly male-dominated functional societies have always done. The "father-figure" was omni-present to guide people.
That is being done away with. And the spiraling anti-male social order is taking its place. LGBT, is inherently a feminist movement. Male-male and female-female partnering is anti-male at its origin, because traditional masculine behavior is designed to attract a female to reproduce with.
We are seeing the failure of men to steer the ship of society.

There's always been tons of people who have same sex attraction. It's been hard to act on it. Now, with hook-up apps like Grindr, it is very easy to have sex without having to meet someone in a bar or park like they did years ago.
I have gay friends. They hook up with married "straight" men ALL THE TIME! Their stories blow my mind. But, they are loyal. They protect the identities of these "straight" guys.

I think same number of people are being born gay, there are far fewer in the closet. The world is RIDDLED with gay closeted men.
