That shootout game vs Ole Miss in 2010 was a lot of fun.

Good pick - I'll take it a step further, if we play McNeese St. that weekend instead of Va Tech we don't win the national title.

Facts. And one of the most fun college football seasons ever.

One of my favorite games in person was LSU taking down Tennessee at home. That was a program changer. Rohan and Reed were ridiculous and Toefield had one of the best runs I've seen in person.

2007 @ Bama

LSU was up 17-3 early in the second, then down 27-17 in the third.

Javier Arenas punt return was as loud as I’ve heard a stadium. The strip sack on John Parker Wilson was an amazing way to get the W. It also featured some Les trickery, a big play replay, and Vern screwing up names over the air.

1986 (87?) Todd Kinchen goes off against a ranked Texas A&M team.

1995 (96?) Kevin Faulk fuels fourth quarter comeback vs. Houston.

1982 Dalton Hilliard and Garry James in stellar intro vs. Oregon.

The atmosphere looked insane on TV. I been to some good ones, wish I was there for that one.

You say with such confidence. LOL. That was 2014. In 2015, they beat us like a drum.

A cold, rainy arse whooping in Oxford. That sucked.

I remember when they went for it on fourth down couldn’t believe they went for it and it early in the game
Never seen such a gamble especially being your first game to coach LSU
Shook my head because it a HUGE gamble or complete stupidity
Turns out Les was stupid and got lucky
He said it was the punter’s decision lol

Oh absolutely we don't. Us crushing Va. Tech like that, and their continued success deep into the season heavily contributed to our going to the ship.

It was insane. Was in the student section for that one.

Honestly one of my most favorite games I’ve been to.

I don’t think it was underrated, but it was one of those “you had to be there,” games.

2019 LSU/UF. I’ve been to a lot of awesome sporting events and seen lots of LSU championships, but that gator chomp mocking UF in unison is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

My wife and I probably will never stop talking about how amazing it was to see 100k in unison doing that.

My vote is Arizona State in 2005. Immediately following Hurricane Katrina, game gets moved to ASU, Les goes for it on the first fourth down in his first game at LSU inside of our own 10 yard line, two special teams TDs to take the lead in the 4th Qtr (blocked FG by Wroten return for TD and blocked punt by Hester return for TD), and a late 4th and 10 TD to Doucet for the win.

wild game.

I watched it in a motel 8 in texas evacuated for Katrina.

That one was good, also the LSU- Ole Miss game in 2012 which was almost a carbon copy of 2010

I was there. Very rainy. If I remember correctly our offense never came close to scoring.

Correct. I don't think we crossed the 50 in the 2nd half but I loved that game and it made me a true, hard-core LSU fan.

That game was insane. Demetrius Boyd and Matt Damon with the hookup from Verne lol

First game against Nick Saban after he took the Bama job. Tons of LSU fans in the house. I thought it was over after that Arenas punt return

2019 LSU/UF

That was a huge game that felt clean if that makes any sense. I think just about everyone felt that we were going to win it going in, but Stingley made a huge INT in the end zone to borderline seal the game. Then we followed it up with dagger the go route on the sideline to Chase. Great game

I’ve heard some loud crowd reactions to defensive plays, but I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a sack get as much praise as Montgomery’s sack late in the 4th QTR.

I think Bama 2010 with Drake Nevis getting that strip on McElroy is up there as well. Not to mention a fairly underrated win IMO
