Elbow and knee sleeve recommendations

I searched and all I found was people saying the only thing they use is wrist straps on dead lights etc but I’m trying to work myself back into shape after having long Covid and some mental health stuff, have had some knee surgeries from football and just wanted to support I guess for some persistent pain in these areas.

A good, tight compression knee sleeve is great.

Local BR seller.
Friction style wrist wraps are great and double as sweat bands during longer workouts are also available.
7mm knee sleeves provide the best support.

My first ever pair of knee sleeves were Tommy Kono brand knee sleeves, they were pretty cheaply priced and cheaply made. Non-lined neoprene on the inside of the sleeve so they sucked to pull on and I ripped them doing so.
I replaced them eventually with Rehband knee sleeves and I started wearing elbow sleeves too. I have 5mm elbow sleeves and 7mm knee sleeves that are moderately tight. I absolutely love them as they are very comfortable, easy to pull on, and durable. I don't have any injury history, but I don't want one so I got these to keep my joints nice and snug and warm because I'm not getting any younger. These do provide a secure feeling that I miss hen I don't have them on.

I use Rehband and am on my 2nd pair in 10+ years. They are very comfortable and keep the appropriate amount of stretch/compression over the years. It's a must for my knees.
I'm always intrigued about how warm my knees are when I take them off after a workout. They do a good job keeping the knees comfortable.

I've always been a fan of Strong brand sleeves but I also like Evolution Athletics.

I used to use Inzer wraps on my knees for deads and squats but it’s like an act of congress doing that every set that I feel the need to wrap. So I bought the Inzer sleeves. Highly recommend.

$50 for each sleeve is ridiculous.
I know Rehband has a lower manufacturing cost than everyone on the market and a pair of knee/elbow sleeves should not cost $100; even more laughable that it's 5mm neoprene and their 7mm stuff is $110-$120/pair.
My first pair of knee sleeves were either 3mm or 5mm Rehbands and they constantly slid down to the knee cap.

I agree. I've been having my sleeve for years now. It was like $30 when I bought it. But, its lasted years of torture.

I've had Iron Bull knee sleeves for several years. Nice comfortable and felxible fit, very durable. Almost feel naked doing back squat without them.

Also, the tighter the fit, the chances of the neoprene splitting increases.
..and from someone who has a hoard of them, the difference between a pair of sleeves that get daily use vs a new pair is night and day. You do not realize how much the older sleeves stretch.
A rule of thumb is to buy a new pair every 9-12 months if they get daily use. This goes for rehband's, too.
