My wife and MIL are still all in on the kidnapping story.
It's not worth trying to ask logical questions to them to explain why they still believe.

Thursday night my wife and I were discussing this, and I was like, “A toddler, on the side of the road? Ummm….” But I could tell I was in dangerous territory so I dropped it.
After the girl showed up her house unharmed my wife had come to her own conclusion this was bullshite.

This case gets weirder and weirder. So she was unresponsive when she got home? And a large crowd was there? What did they see? Did she just appear out of nowhere? Come walking down the road? Someone drop her off?
UAB obviously thought she was okay to go home. No physical injuries or psychological trauma.

Not how Hoover operates. They have an incredible amount of resources and they’ve always had a reputation of being hard asses in terms of law enforcement. Guaranteed that is not the only camera footage of that location on 459. I’d bet a large sum of money they know every place that girl was from the time she left work until the time she walked away. The neighborhood behind the interstate is not full of cheap housing either. It’s a place you’re likely to find lots of security cameras and doorbell cams. You can bet they have that too. Anyone leaving that neighborhood is going to be picked up on any number of cameras moving up and down 150. When Hoover drops the hammer on her and her story, they won’t leave any doubt
