Passing a bad check, then sticking around till the cops showed up, while being high as frick, then resisting arrest till you OD.

I worked with a guy whose son stole a truck in Mobile. Ran out of gas on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway and jumped off the bridge. Tide took the dumb arse out and he was found the next day dead as a hammer.

My cousin died trying to suck his own dick. My aunt found him. It was a mess. He was on his bed, with his legs doubled over himself. Balls resting on his lips.

A guy from my hometown was a stud linebacker and had road scholar book smarts. He was somewhere in Europe and started climbing up the side of a building. Once he got high enough to be deadly he fell.
Apparently book smarts and common sense are not the same.

Guy was racing his buddy on a forklift in a warehouse. Took a turn too sharp and you can figure out the rest.

High school teacher was selling a pistol and a man came to his house with the intention of buying. Teacher's son who was a friend of mine picked up the pistol.
Potential buyer told him he should not play with a gun and the teacher said it wasn't loaded. Son pointed at his dad, pulled the trigger and killed him .
His mom moved away after the funeral and I have always wondered how my friend turned out.

Had a friend’s father, 50ish and in good health, wake up in the middle of the night. As he was getting out of bed, assuming to use the bathroom, he slipped and hit his head on his nightstand and died the following day. Freak accident.

That dude from a while back in Europe that electrocuted himself with a sex toy, that was plugged into the wall, stuck up his butt.

Trying to fight half a dozen cops that were arresting him.

Friend of mine decided to stand up in a moving truck and take a piss out the back or side of said moving truck on the highway. Needless to say, he fell out and was killed. Another friend decided to rob a small town pharmacy. Cops showed up and he fled. Thought he got away until they found his body a week later in the lake he had decided to hide in. Unfortunately, I've got more instances than i have time to list.

Six Airborne guys one night in a Thunderstorm at Ft. Bragg in 1971. Tragically stupid what they did.

Wasn’t a boy found in a chimney of a bank in Louisiana where he tried to slide down and get inside it after hours? And they found his bones in there almost 3 decades later?

100 percent true story.
Bought a house in May 2020 from an elderly couple (both in their late 80s). He was a master carpenter and gardener. He passed away before closing.
Fast forward to April 2021. My MIL is home alone in her downstairs apt. Goes upstairs to take a walk. Opens the front door, and there's the previous owner face down in a pool of her own blood at the front door.
Apparently, she had come by to pick some flowers to place at her husband's grave (which we had told her she was more than welcome to do). As she approached the front door, she tripped, stumbled, slipped or just plain lost her balance. She did a header into the front door, split her head open like a coconut and died on our front porch.
My MIL was traumatized for weeks.

Used to work as a janitor while in college. A guy drowned while trying to retrieve his contact lens from the toilet in one of the buildings I cleaned.
