Gets Millazzo and Neal more reps and frees up the DH.

I think he has to play it to increase his draft stock

I'm sure he will spend some time working there, along with Jones.

If he comes back I bet he plays a good split of catcher and DH with the occasional start at 1st

I don’t see Milazzo playing a big role next year. He may fill in here and there, provide a rest for Neal, but he won’t be the primary catcher. He’ll serve similar to this year - a good injury sub.

In Jay we trust. Gets work at 1st in the fall and will be ready for spring!

Why, so many on here will continuously try to make him live up to the Tre Morgan standard which he never will. You do know that 1st baseman do have a special skill that not just everyone has. Tre had it, but Travinski never will.

We didn't see Jones much, but I recall him having Matt Clark type speed running the bases. I doubt we see him in the outfield.

He has one position and one only, DH.

A team can still go to Travinski (and Ack) and offer them $150k and it has no effect on their pool money. It's just a matter of whether a team has a spot for such guys and whether the player wants to take what could be more money than what many drafted players get.

I'd take a look at the Samford/Delgado kid in the portal. Stephen Klein.

It depends on if he is as good or better than Jones or Frey defensively at first and which one hits the best. As always, so much of the position decisions will be based on who hits the best.

Is Travinski flexible enough to make all the plays at 1st? Tre was one of the best LSU firstbasemen I can remember. Travinski has the size you'd like, but not sure what kind of toll catching put on his knees/legs.
