No argument from me.

And if pound for pound, the list definitely needs Chris Jackson.

I like the list, except I would not put Chad Jones anywhere near top 5. He was a great football player, but I'd take Jamaal Adams at safety over Jones any day of the week. His baseball contributions were important. Without them I don't think we win that championship. But I don't think that's enough to start him at safety over Adams, Mathieu, Dale, Casanova or even Delpit.

And where the heck is Billy Cannon?l Crimminy! He doesn't have Pistol Pete!

I think Chad Jones would've blew up in the NFL. His potential was boundless due to his athleticism. Sad it never came to be.

I don't. He was slower than folks realize. He wasn't even the fastest pitcher on that 2009 staff.

The NFL GMs agreed with me, too. Every single one of them passed on him twice, with several passing a third time.

He ran a 4.57 and was the size of a small linebacker that played S. He was more than fast enough to make the plays in the NFL. That was never an issue.

Chris Jackson?

Or does his anthem BS exclude him from consideration?

I'm sure there's a couple people that slipped my mind that should be on my second list. I wouldn't have 3 basketball players in the top 5 tho.

Crazy to think of the amazing athletes left off the list. I mean Pistol Pete anyone? Billy Cannon? I could tax my old man brain and come up with a dozen more that could have an argument about being in the list.

Badger is one of the best players of all time.

He may not be one of the best athletes of all time.
Through grit, desire, will power and instincts, he did things I have never seen before...

So is this a bad time to mention HOFer Bob Pettit?

I guess you didn't read my first post that the Chris Jackson post was responding to. Bob Pettit was mentioned.

Gotta put the pole vaulter on there. Duplantis is a tremendous athlete.

Tyrann is too modest, he was a much, much more impactful player than Chad Jones.

That would not be my list but he will not get a big argument from me and I can understand why Patrick Peterson would be number one in his book.
