I work not far away from the Intercontinental. There is a parking garage right next door that most guest use.

It's certainly possible.
As I said yesterday he allegedly had a good chunk of money saved up and was home alone for the first time in several months.
My hope is they bust down the door, find him with drugs and haul his arse to jail. At least he'd be alive.

Intercontinental is a very nice hotel in a nice part of the French Quarter. I stayed just across the street from there in June.
He’s clearly got some cash on him as that hotel is at least $200 a day, even on weekdays. Also plenty of law offices on the same block.
If he is on a bender and passed out, the hotel will definitely find him and call for an ambulance.

I just took a walk over to the hotel. There are only a few cars parked on the outside as that is an extremely busy area. The rest of the vehicles are parked in a garage to the left of the hotel. I asked the parking attendant for a phone number regarding vehicle information. He said all request would have to go through the main desk. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Yeah that is either for two nights or one night and a temporary hold.

I just drove through the garage. Didn't see the car. That's not to say he's not parked in the area.
OP, one positive at the moment is that if he's spending this kind of money on rooms(hoping he's in a good frame of mind), he must not be close to rock bottom and ready to live under the overpasses, etc.
This hotel is in the CBD. There are several Marriotts in the area, but all of the areas are nicer areas.

Yeah there is the garage next door, which is for the third hotel on the block, but if you’re staying at the Hilton or Intercontinental, I believe you can self park there.
