We were actually favored in that game. I believe it's the Tuberville cigar game....

Unfortunately, this past seasons game vs Tennessee was my first time seeing LSU in Tiger Stadium.

I was in awe seeing all this stuff I'd only seen on TV since the 90s. Then the game started and it went downhill pretty fast.

Had it been a night game, we would have made a game of it.
Also that game was a nightmare from the get-go. Fumble on the opening KO ???

Thanks so much for the picture of the stadium. What memories that brings back: living there, 4 of us to a room, showers and Johns down the hall, etc.

LSU-Florida State in 1982. Fog rolling in, oranges being hurled and a drunk coonass staggering around behind us drinking a fifth of Jack. I was hooked for life.

Wasn't my first game but it was my first fall semester at LSU. I remember it all and there wasn't an orange left in any store in Baton Rouge. They were all on the field or used to make screwdrivers for the game. Saw Mike take down their mascot and that crazy fog rolling in from the South End Zone. I still have my "Pass Out" pass from that game. One of my best memories of any game.

The 2003 Auburn game. We missed the first TD because my cousin got us pre-game field passes and we were just walking through the tunnel.

It was Rice, first game of the 1967 season; I was ten and enjoyed just being with my dad. It was the first year that Dad took my brothers and me, one at a time because he only had two tickets. A few years later he included our younger sister. It was the beginning of the end of my mother going to games. With four kids, and a lack of interest in football, she realized that she didn’t enjoy going that much and was happy that we all wanted to go.

Not my first game but the first I recall is when Hookie Gaian returned a kickoff for a TD.

I was there too. Like 5 rows from the field. It was insanely hot. I don't remember much. Not many games during Hallman era were memorable

Yeah it was UAB in 2000 for those senior recruiting sales pitch trips (I forget the name).

Troy 2008. We made an incredible comeback that game. Believe we were down 33-3 and came back and won

Me, too. I think I was on the 3rd floor. Mike IV roared every night.

1964 Tennessee 3 to 3 Tie Tiger Stadium day game Regional Television . We were inside the Vols 10 two times and missed Field Goals. Sat next to the Vol band.

November 19, 1988. I was 8 years old and LSU lost to Miami 44-3. It poured much of the game and LSU was throttled by a Jimmy Johnson coaches team. But still a blast to be in Tiger Stadium for the first time.

The Earthquake Game. Sat in the upper deck and didn't leave for what felt like an hour after the game was over. I remember some guy draped in an LSU flag playing a trumpet in the aisle next to our seats after the game was over. Couldn't have picked a better first-game-experience. Absolutely no better place to watch a college football game in the country.

I was at that game. Emitt ran all over us but we somehow won. My first game was 1983 FSU.
