It was LSU VS Vandy. We sit in the endzone bleachers before they made the stadium a bowl. Was a long time ago.

Wasn’t my first game but the first game I remember going to was when Florida State came to town in 1991. I can recall how amped up everyone was at the tailgate and how the atmosphere in the stadium was nuts when LSU had an early lead. It also rained its arse off. That one has always stuck with me.

Don’t remember the year but it was against Kentucky, Joe Labruzzo had a good game, but the most important thing was I went with my grandfather!

I can't remember. And I'm not sure that's a bad thing...

Was that LSU/Geo in 2003? If so, we probably know each other.
Nope. My time at LSU was long before that.

Woah, that was mine too.
I was a freshman living in North Stadium. Only season LSU didn't win a conference game. Beat South Carolina though, and beat the pants off Washington.

Oct 1969. Best friend's Dad brought us to #9 LSU vs #14 Auburn. It was the ABC game of the week. LSU blocked an XP and a FG at the end and won 21-20

Early 80’s. I was 10-13 years old. Don’t remember who we were playing, and it didn’t matter.
My grandfather’s team was being honored for their 50th anniversary. He had to walk on crutches for as long as I could remember. But he stood on the Tiger Stadium field with his chest out & proud of his accomplishments.
He was a great man & I miss him to this day.

Five years old. My mom bought me a hat for the occasion, which I brought to school the day before. I was so excited!
It was 1994 against A&M.
If memory serves, LSU lost 12-7

I was eight years old in November, 1949. My dad was a student at SLC on the GI Bill. LSU was hosting Southeastern. We drove over Saturday morning in the family Studebaker for the afternoon game. I had been to a few games at Southeastern, but the size of Tiger Stadium compared to to Strawberry Stadium in Hammond blew me away.
I don't remember much about the game, but I have since learned that although the Tigers had a big lead at halftime, Coach Tinsley pulled all the starters and had them run full contact drills in the practice field visible through the open south end of the stadium.

1977 when we beat the crap out of Rice and Carlos Carson went off.

1979: 11 years old with my dad. I think we played Rice . My dad and I sat up in the west Upper deck. The playing field looked so awesome and crisp. Watching the pregame kickers and the balls traveling through the air. It was a magical time and a gift because very few games were on television.
I remember Sid Crocker on the speakers.
Fun time coming down the west side escalator.

Didn't know the Stadium was still used for dormitories then. I remember it was when I was in school in the early 1970's, and was considered notable for being cheap and shabby housing. The "newer" addition, South Stadium, was a little better. I had a cousin who was an honor student who roomed there.

18-13 LSU loss. Miserable game. And my hopes were dashed completely when Casey Tabor threw the lone pass of his LSU career late in the 4th quarter-- a perfectly thrown fly pattern to a wide receiver which would have been the go-ahead TD for LSU with less than a minute to go, if it had not been DROPPED!
Kind of a metaphor for the Camp Curley regime.
