Like it was yesterday - 1973 Rice. Before the season my Dad showed me the schedule let me pick two games to go to. I was 7 - for some reason I picked Rice and the homecoming game that year Ms. State.
When we drove over the bridge from New Roads my Dad pointed out Tiger Stadium in the distance - Frissons!
We walked in and the stadium smelled of tobacco and liquor. It was like the Dad in Rudy - the most beautiful sight these eyes have ever seen.
Tigers win 27-9 I made my Dad stay until the last play, which was not easy for him, he was a beat the traffic guy. But he stayed. Al Coffee was my favorite player.
It was obsession from then on. I remember going to the doctor and my Mom telling the Doctor how big a fan I was that year and he quizzed me and I was like 12 year old Jesus at the temple astounding the elders with my LSU football knowledge.

2000 Alabama at LSU. First game my dad took my brother and I to. I was 13 and we sat in the last row of the East Uppers.
We got season tickets in the SE Endzone 2 years later.

1987 VS UK. Tigers won 34-9 in a day game. Wendell Davis had a great game as I recall.

No...I don't remember. My dad took us to LSU football games starting at such a young age. I do remember leaving a bag of peanuts in the bathroom as a young child.
The other thing I rememeber as a kid were the colors. The LSU uniforms under the lights and just how awesome the colors were. I would dream in color after LSU football games as a kid.

Probably not my first game, but the first one I really remember was LSU vs Florida State in 1991.
My mom didn’t want to go because of the weather forecast (heavy rain), so my dad took me. FSU was #1. LSU was FAR from that. Yet, LSU jumped out to a 13-0 lead. The game was tight throughout with FSU eventually taking the lead in the 4th in a second half that was played in the driving rain. I remember leaving the stadium disappointed and completely soaked.

LSU-ULM game 2003. I don’t remember much of the game, but I remember seeing both teams, walking up to our seats, and some football action. My dad took me and that’s when my love for LSU began.

As a very young Tiger cub with my Dad at the Oct. 25, 1969 LSU-Auburn game in DV. Tigers won 21-20 to remain unbeaten, before losing to Ole Miss 26-23 in Jackson.
My Dad got three tickets from a LaPlace State Trooper and we picked up his son or nephew on the way up Airline Hwy from Kenner. I believe his name was Joey Tamburella ? We sat in the SEZ. Jimmy Gilbert threw a halfback option pass to Andy Hamilton for a TD on the first play. I believe the late XP was blocked by Bill Thomason and George Bevan. Great memories. "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies played on the radio on the way home :)
This was the year the Cotton Bowl invited LSU to play #1 Texas on Jan. 1, 1970, then reneged and took 11th ranked 3-loss Notre Dame. The 9-1 Tigers voted not to play in the Bluebonnet Bowl and wound up #10, when they could have ended up in the Top 3 or better..

Sophomore in high school so probably 1998. Shuan Alexander rushed for 1,000 yards that game and it was brutal.

My first game was in the nosebleeds against Mississippi State. Had to be 94 or 95.
My first true memory was when LSU beat #1 Florida 28-21 in 97.
