The entire GBFTL "Shite and Shebang" (That means 100%) needs to be moved to the Athletic Department.
Hire a great Director/Staff and let them run it.
The Athletic Department should only be responsible for the Financial $$$$ part of it.
Everybody needs to be on Full Athletic Scholarships as well, for both the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. (You have to play all year round to keep the "Musicality" going without a decline)
Increase membership to 350/400 and eliminate Woodwinds.
Imagine the sound of a 400 member GBFTL with just Brass and Percussion in Tiger Stadium!

When I was in the band, I remember a few occasions where we all had to change on the bus…and that was during the “sacred” Wickes era. Were we all woke? What does woke mean to you?

As a tb alum also, i think we need some new blood making the band better.
Yall think jones was playing hide the pickle with a student? It is 5 weeks prior to band camp. If someone is quitting, it would be during end of fall or end of spring. Not mid summer. Something is fishy yall

Moving the Tiger Band into the athletic department is a pipe dream. Woodward could not care less about the Tiger Band and without Woodward, it does not happen. Face it, as long as the band shows up, "they" don't care about the quality. The school of music will never give up control of its "cash cow." So, Damon Talley (the same guy that said the students in Tiger Band were overpaid and underworked) will hire the next director of the Tiger Band.

Tiger Band is not the worst marching band in the SEC…yet, however they are no longer in the top tier. Auburn, Bama, Tennessee, UGA, A&M, Moo State, and arguably even USCe and Florida have better bands. The last two used to be two of the worst in the conference.

It’s sad how big of a joke the band is at this point. In the past it was one of the best in the country. Now it’s wallowing at the bottom of the sec.
