Can’t believe time goes that fast. Was that 2 or 3 years ago now? Everything since 2020 has been a blur

Saw on Twitter that Jonas has the second highest VO2 Max ever recorded @ 97. As a Junior, so likely much higher now. Dude is a damn machine.

Chris Horner gave his ranking of the top cyclists in the world prior to the TDF starting, and IIRC: 1 Pog, 2 Roglic 3 Jonas 4 Remco 5 WVA; and he has now changed his ranking, 1 Jonas 2 Pog 3 Roglic 4 Remco 5 WVA.
Now in response to that he's saying that Roglic must find a new team, and specifically mentions Ineos. So in 2024 at the TDF you would have:
Jonas - TJV
Roglic - Ineos
Pogacar - UAE
Remco - Soudal Quick Step
WVA - TJV
I like the idea but I don't know if TJV will be all that happy to let Roglic go. Also not sure what that would do to the other grand tours if all those guys were concentrated at the TDF. But, I like the idea of Roglic being able to add the TDF to his list. He's already got the Giro and Vuelta.

Tadej fell already today and is busted up a little bit but he’s back with his team and riding just fine

I tuned in to the ITT live and watched without audio when Vindegaard started. You could see his form was on and he was flying. As someone who was rooting for Pogacar, it was deflating.
UAE strategy has not done Tadej any favors, but Vindegaard is holding all the aces and in the unlikely event the gap should close, Jumbo-Visma will simply open a fresh deck and pull out more aces.
Been watching the TDF since Greg Lemond and that performance by Vindegaard was, as others have pointed out, outLandis(h).

Someone on reddit plotted out the seconds/kilometer lost to the leader in the TdF ITT since 2008

Ball Game.
He really hasn't looked his best at ALL this Tour.
He's gonna need to limit the races he does next year or it could repeat this again.

He is picking off every rider up front one by one. This is unbelievable

I mean when stuff like this is said about cyclists, I lose interest. Doping ruined the most dominant era of this sport & it’s obvious that Jonas has a major advantage this year
