He’s been an awesome ambassador for the Tigers.

MANY people felt Tate would turn LSU into a completely "woke" university and that mindset would bleed into the athletic department hires. Instead, he has stayed out of the AD's way, and simply just supported him and the department the entire time.

Such a breath of fresh air to have a president that wants to win. Bob Mann is somewhere seething right now.

Tate needs money to operate. Sports bring in money. Feed the monster.

Go back and read the thread when he was hired. You'll catch on quickly.

I love how the president simply doing his job(of not doing anything with sports) is now worthy of high praise.

Quite a few people here thought Tate was going to force Mel Tucker be hired as the football coach. They were and still are idiots.

Yup, I had serious reservations when he was hired, but I’m very happy to say I was wrong.

He’s been an asset to LSU.

You thinking peoples feelings about Tate have anything to do with athletics or athletic success show a WILD misunderstanding of the situation.

So we're supposed to give him kudos for doing what he should do. I mean, I guess so.

Well it's not like that initial take was baseless, but I'm also happy to have him as a fair and good administrator.
