Jordan Thompson has a really good game tonight. That young man is too good of a ballplayer to stay down this long.

I think yesterday was his “rock bottom” and its up from there.

From what I’ve seen, him having a functional game in his position would be mindblowing

Is that what you mean by good game

I don’t think that Limb is going to hold you.

Defensively? He was pretty solid on defense outside of last night and the Wake Forest game where he made a similar error. Offensively, he has been an automatic out.

That’s not going out on a limb. That’s blindly walking off a cliff at the Grand Canyon!

Stop drinking bath water. JT is a liability. He has had multiple time to improve his game. But has taken two steps backward.

Are you saying he was drunk for the last week? Because that would explain a lot.

All in his head, he needs to trust himself and just play ball.

How long can a player be “due” for a good game? We are pretty far in at this point

Bunt him every bat. Should maybe get 1 of 5 tries. Game winner squeeze.

He did have 2 good at bats what ended in line outs to the warning track.

Prediction: Tonights pitching limits the amount of balls to JT along with stress situations in the field, he’ll have a clean game. He’ll again have 2 solid ABs with one falling in for a RBI double. 1-4 with a walk.

Ok, but a really good game is going 1 for 4, 1 run scored, & 0 errors.

He’s struggling as bad as I’ve ever seen in college but if he can at least pick one between fielding and batting to do well today I’ll take it. I mean if he has a great day at shortstop and goes 0-4 will be better than yesterday by a lot

Pretty sure he had errors in each game vs Tennessee

When he threw that ball to third for no apparent reason, it showed how hard he was pressing, and at this point it’s all mental. Unless he has a psychological epiphany before the game tonight, then I’ll expect the same, but hope for a miracle. I believe he’s a great team mate and wants to win as much as anyone else, but it’s hard to watch.

Hope he redeems himself tonight, but may be too little, too late! It's all mental with him now, since his failures attempting to lay down bunts!!!
