It’s better to get beat like that than a close gut wrenching loss IMO. It’s almost laughable and easier to move on from. They know it was ridiculous.

Did you see who was pitching once JJ knew the game was out of reach?

The players didn’t give a shite about what the score would be once we started putting in pitchers that they know won’t be throwing tomorrow. Completely irrelevant

The night before they set a record for strike outs. Stop being a pussy and suck it up.

If we had thrown top-line pitching for 9 innings I would agree. But we didn't. So your point is dumb.

I do know that it verified that LSU has 2-3 pitchers who have no business being on an SEC staff.

We pitched Little. LSU didn't care if they lost by 100.

As soon as that abortion of a 3rd inning happened, Jay gave zero shits about the game and started planning for tomorrow. It’s tough to watch but after all of that, the series is tied.

LSU threw “everyone else” tonight after ackenhausen and Guidry had issues against a HR hitting team. The better pitchers are coming tomorrow for lsu while Florida has used theirs, and LSU is just as much a HR hitting team. Look for skenes, herring, Guidry, and cooper on the mound tomorrow! Game on!

You're right. We should have used our best available pitchers so we would only lose 10-3. What were we thinking?

Florida scored the most runs in CWS history, but it was not the worst loss. Jobert's garbage time home run saved us from being tied for largest margin of defeat, which is 21.

All in all, I'm not feeling as bleak as many on this board. We're whining about not driving guys in when given the chance, but I'd rather be in that spot than having been completely shut down the first two games. We're missing the key hits that make it 8-1 LSU, not getting no-hit. And having done that twice in a row, I get the sense we WILL break through soon.

I think we're going to be locked in again tomorrow, I just hope we have enough arms to finish the game.
If Skenes doesn't go, I guess it's Hurd, Cooper, Herring, then whatever else we can find.

It doesn't matter. I rather lose big than lose a heartbreaker. A loss is a loss. Win tomorrow and no one will care.

In no world that I live in, is getting beat 24-4 in baseball at the CWS an acceptable thing. That's a GD football score.

Frick all the "That's Baseball" MA's and MAMM"s that think it's OK

Just win the damn thing tomorrow!
