was an invention called the alarm clock. Before that men went to sleep and woke up on time with no help, like men should do. There was none of this "let me stay up late and watch TV and play video games, so the alarm clock can wake me up because I can't get my lazy fat arse up in time for work."
Now get off my lawn you lazy fuqs!

When I was a kid, I went to sleep at Magnum PI PM and woke up at The Bozo Show AM every day.

You’ve never heard of a candle clock?

My alarm plays Hair of the Dog by Nazareth.

.. you could buy a Kickapoo Joy Juice, ice cold at the store for 10 cents, and you realize that Mountain Dew stole their recipe.
If the Kickapoos were to have a rebellion, I can't say that I would blame them.

Did you know for most of human history man would wake up in the middle of night for a few hours and then go back to sleep? Sleeping straight through the night has only become common in the past few hundred years.

One of many reasons why families have less kids nowadays

Very random post. What makes a person post something like this?

My dad was a truck driver. If he needed to be up at 3am, he woke up. 4am, he woke up. Never used a clock.
I am now very similar and glad for it.

So are you mad at the invention of the alarm clock?

The light bulb actually destroyed our sleep patterns, not cell phones. Back in the day we'd go to bed when the sun went down, sleep for four hours, wake up for an hour or three to have sex or socialize, then go back down for another four hours.

I hate this time of the year. The sun comes up too early. We should institute a second daylight saving time between May 15 to August 15 if not an hour, a half hour. 6 am sunrises are for the birds. Save that extra daylight for the afternoon.
