Skenes has three starts of 120 pitches this month alone.
There hasn’t been a pitcher in the mlb this year throw 120 pitches even once

If it's a save situation in the 9th with a 1 run lead, then maybe. Other than that no. Maybe only with 2 outs and a runner on or a power guy at the plate.

All pitchers have a “bullpen day” in between starts where they go throw 30 or so live, full throttle pitches.

Haha come on man the way the bullpens have been set up for years of course they haven’t. Can they? Absolutely but when you have wipe out 7,8,9 guys all you need is a SP to go 6. Guarantee more pitchers could go longer.
