I stayed up for Episode 7 “Forks” and it might be my favorite one so far. It centers mostly around Richie. The actor that plays Richie killed it.

Yeah my favorite as well

Just finished Episode 3 and it re-confirmed my hatred of Sydney.

She's a fricking bitch.

You forgot that it was the celebrity cash in show as well. Makes it that much worse. They could have found better character actors than the leeches they gift wrapped these roles for.

What's that REM song in the final episode? I thought it was Nightswimming but it's not. Driving me crazy>

Half a World Away, it looks like.

The first half of the season was all over the place, but after 6, it became much more consistent. I think I liked 7 the best of the entire season.

I have avoided this thread due to 'spoilers" . However, I just finished Episode 6 "Fishes". That was simply an incredible hour of television.

Episode 6 and 7 were definitely the highlights. The Carm/Claire relationship was a bit off to me but everything else really solid

Just finished Episode 10.

The last 12-15 minutes were brutal.

Richie is the fricking man though. His arc this season was incredible.

Posted earlier about six and yes the ending was gut wrenching in a lot a ways.

Notice how Ritchie and Carmen devolved ever so quickly back to the family life as seen in six? Unfortunately, there are families that live the life as depicted in six and it doesn't take much for "it" to rear it ugly head.

Great show.

Are people in Chicago rabid smokers or just people in the restaurant industry?

I would def say smoking is pretty prevalent if you work in the kitchen. It’s often a way to get a 10-15 minute break and taking that breather and a heater right before or after a crazy service keeps them sane

Ritchie came a long way. Tremendous character arc. Lionel too. Sydney is just there. Carmy needs professional help. Somebody get Matty Mathesson on a treadmill before his heart explodes.

Season was good. I liked the way they tied up loose ends from season 1, and progressed all characters (somewhat) throughout the season. Except episode 6. Watching Jamie Lee Curtis flail about for an Emmy nod was nauseating.

I think I cracked the code on this:

Family = Utter Chaos & Insanity
Restaurant = Perfect Order

I think I would have gone nuclear too if I was stuck in the walk-in on opening night.
