Tennessee baseball fans angry with umpires' calls in loss to LSU at College World Series

Not only were calls at the plate angering fans, but the first base umpire stirred up some reactions, too.

TTT - LSU fans have complained whenever LSU players had this happen to them too, but I don't recall such a stink being made of it like this.

Fans is one thing. Rarely does media call out refs over social media or write articles about it.

Was at the Florida game last night and Tennessee fans in front of us were still crying all night about it to the umps. I told them anyone can screen shot a pitch called a strike out the zone. I just wasn’t interested in doing it because that is was the losing team does.

Skenes was getting squeezed way more than Lindsey early in the game.

The umps were calling it terribly on both sides. They made Skenes work a lot harder than he should have. A ton of his balls were actually strikes.
