Had blue plate on my list today and couldnt find it. Took a closer look and they radically changed their label.
Why do companies try to fix what aint broke?

Blue Plate is definitely the best mayo, regardless of label. Unless they put a tranny on it, then frick’m!

The new label is better. I dig it.

They did it just recently. They wanted to show their New Orleans connection.

It’s more Louisiana than NO. Pelican magnolias and river boat. Nice update

Those look much more like the blue plates that my grandma had than the ones on the old label did.

That’s funny. We all enjoy Bunny Bread and one day happened to notice the name change. Oh well, at the least the bread is still good.

Said by every person ever who has killed a business. I think the label looks clean as hell.

It clearly states on the label, “A New Orleans Family Tradition since 1927”…

I liked the old label. It included the classic blue willow plate, which any proper seersucker wearing New Orleanian has a set of those plates at home.

It tastes good but I’m not sure it’s even real bread. Sort of how Subway bread is not considered bread in Europe. It’s some sort of bread-like pastry that could be a dessert.

Production plant moved to Knoxville in 1974.
