I get you're drunk, but you didn't pay attention to what I said. In the last hour, Game 1 is now $1117.

Game 5 : $29?
Game 7 at $11?
Game 9 $12?
Game 11? $11
Finals game 3 starting at $97. FINALS.

Don’t expect the PFG shirt wearing crowd here to understand basic economics.
Sadly, half of our Fanbase thinks they can walk into the World Series for 15 bucks and a bowl of jambalaya.
You ought to see them cry on the ticket exchange the week of an Alabama football game

So I want to bring my family of 6. Is it better for me to wait and try and get tickets the day of? I’m not going to pay over 1k for tickets to a game unless it’s the national championship but would love to bring my boys to game 1 and see Skenes pitch

The opening Saturday is the busiest day of the whole CWS. All the locals come out and the place is packed. Plus they all love LSU. Not surprised tickets are steep.

I thought Omaha sells books of tickets in the grocery store for like $100 for the whole tournament? When did that stop?

the National Championship tickets were always the cheapest and easiest to get because you only have 2 fan bases competing instead of 8, eliminated teams have dumped their tickets which floods the market, and the casuals are burned out

The “ticket brokers” just use an algorithm and there aren’t a lot of tickets for sale for LSU because LSU fans already bought a lot of them and the locals aren’t going to sell their opening weekend tickets.

There will be reasonable tickets, you just have to be patient and find them outside the stadium from a local (not a scalper). Or invest your time waiting in the GA line and sit in the bleachers or stand behind home plate

Does your family of 6 include your wife? Honestly you should just go the GA route…you and your wife can take turns taking the kids out to walk around while the other saves the spot in line.

Finding 6 tickets together is going to be tough and expensive

The GA route doesn’t exist anymore. The scalpers bought all of those previous 10 dollar tickets and have them listed for 160- 180 right now

I will agree that a family of 6 isn’t getting out of this cheap

Are you sure? The GA tickets were booklets of physical tickets so they aren’t really listed on the reseller websites (but I know that could have changed since 2017) and they didn’t really sell out or have any differing prices because they essentially sold unlimited amounts because they would be used for any game

Also as teams got eliminated the GA tickets would drop below box office face value as fans dumped the rest of the books before going home

Apparently you DON’T know about supply and demand if you think they can ARTIFICIALLY inflate the market. Either the demand exists at that price point or it doesn’t.

Read about it a few places including some Omaha folks complaining about it. If anybody knows different please say so

Is it best to go ahead and buy tickets for both games 7 and 8 now and then just sell the one LSU doesn't play in?
