I assume by open world they mean open "worlds"?
Like is this supposed to be akin to No Man's Sky? Obviously not randomly generated planets, but for the planets that are in the game is the whole planet able to be traversed?

So they completely copied Fallen Order & Survivor with the sidekick robot/animal lol

Just what I was thinking and agreeing with Carson about the character not shutting the frick up. I'm not sure they understand that people can tell when they are forcing something on them and when it is organic. BD-8 was a great wrinkle to gameplay and people found another droid to love. This one feels like they are just trying to monetize that again

I agree with you and Carson. But this is star wars....they will forever throw in a robot since r2d2 and cp3 are still loved. Rogue one had a robot (sidekick robot). Mandalorian had grogu (sidekick animal). This seems to be star wars go to move since day 1 for merchandise.
Makes me think of spaceballs...spaceballs the flamethrower!

Rebels had Chopper, another droid with personality.
We're all old now and these games arent made for us anymore. Its nothing new that star wars creates characters just to sell merch (i.e. Ewoks, phasma, snoke, grogu)

Man I’m so disappointed in the lack of character customization and no lightsabers apparently. That might be a no buy for me. Those were the primary reasons I was so excited about the game.
