You don't have to record it. Just avoid the spoilers, and ESPN+ usually has the games available on-demand to pull up the replay later.

I’m sitting at The Box and it has yet to rain a drop.

And I'm at home less than 4 miles from the Box and I just heard thunder off in the distance towards the west or northwest.

At this time we are going to clear the stadium. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. CT and fans will be allowed to re-enter with their same mobile or paper ticket.

Is the game still going to be on ESPN or are the fans once again getting screwed with ESPN+?

Hopefully no one slips on the way out. Ground is slick from the downpour.

College Baseball already knew we didn't have much quality pitching beyond Skenes, by doing this Johnson just admitted it to the rest of the world.
From an email from the LSU Ticket Office at 3:15 PM:
quote:

BATON ROUGE, La. – Game 1 of the LSU-Kentucky NCAA Super Regional has been postponed until 7:06 p.m. CT Saturday night due to the threat of severe weather in the Baton Rouge area.

The game was originally scheduled to begin at 2:06 p.m. CT.

With unstable weather conditions and threat of lightning, NCAA officials did not believe there was an opportunity Saturday afternoon to play a complete game.

Any weather in BR yet? Skenes would be almost done mowing down the wildcats.

My guess is that the likelihood of a delay was less than 50%. That means they knew that more likely than not that it wasn’t absolutely necessary to postpone the start. My question to you is what % chance of a delay frickin Skenes start would you have been okay with?
