Excessive posters - Who has this kind of free time?

I’m sometimes baffled by the sheer number of posts by particular users. How are these numbers even possible? Do these people not have jobs or families or friends?
Here’s one example:
TD poster “John Doe” (not actual username)
-235,453 posts
-Member since 2009, about 174 months
-equates to about 1,353 posts per month
-equates to about 45 posts PER DAY ( 7 days per week for 14.5 years)
Yes I realize this post took all of 5 minutes to create, but I’m home sick so frick off.

lots of people have office jobs where the amount of actual work they do might be 1-2 hours a day

It's not hard to rack up posts pretty quickly. There are a shite ton of jobs these days where people sit in front of a computer all day
It's not hard at all to hit 45 posts without really trying while screwing around at work.
Throw in some drunk posting and a few rant game threads and you're there in not too long at all

If I am really bombed I can probably do 100 but might have regrets the next day.

you lack dedication and discipline. Don't besmirch others because you can't do the things they do. Envy is very unflattering to the wearer.
