Which is why most people here are against them. Its a perfectly logical position to take since these public parades are naturally hyper sexualized.

Exactly. The soft heads on the right desperately want to separate the LGB from the TQ+ and perverts, and think there is some moral distinction. They know that LGB is pretty much baked into American culture thanks to milquetoast boomers letting it happen over time.

Now these soft-headed Republicans see no path politically without getting behind the LGB, but it's still within the Overton Window to dismiss the TQ+ and the kink, so they will do that for now.
