Back in 2015 when Jeb! was being pushed by the media I didn't know a single person that was a fan. I don't think there was anyone on this board that was supporting him. It was a completely manufactured "lead" or whatever they were calling it by the media and the power brokers.

That is a night and day difference this year with RDS. The vast majority of people I run accross all fit into the same mindset: Want Ron to be the nominee but will vote for Trump if its him.

desantis will collapse just like jeb bush did in 2016

DeSantis is nothing like JEB. He doesn’t have Trumps stage presence but his substance and execution at the state level is like a masterclass on how to govern as a conservative.

I can’t wait until the primary is over so the sensationalism can chill out for awhile.

Trump vs DeSantis is the best GOP primary field in decades, we should all be thankful to have two candidates who would be great at the top of the ticket, but instead it’s like a 6th grade class president race on here with the back and forth.

Just support your candidate and chill out.

its completely laughable. He had no actual support, no one wanted another Bush.

Desantis was an absolute rockstar and was universally loved on this board until Trump decided he was a threat.

Its night and day.

There was, of course, no Ukraine "dodge". His position changed Zero.

Total lie.

Doesn’t matter. They were told to hate and they balanced the ball on their noses

Doesn’t really matter seeing as how Trump essentially abandoned the state.

Odd for a guy to be in Iowa today if he has "abandoned the state".

Already setting the stage that if Trump loses, it can only be due to cheating, again. What utter losers

How do you explain how tDon got more votes in 20 than in 16 then? More people liked him yet less people voted for him?

Your hatred of Trump is showing.

the only way desantis can pull this out is if they take trump to jail.

My money would still be on Trump, by an even bigger margin

What does this have to do with the statement and response? The guy was literally setting up the scenario, just like Trump did in 2016 when he lost Iowa, of cheating, again.

I'm going to vote for him a 3rd time if it comes to that. Weird hatred.

I am not a fan of his anymore, admittedly. Something happened to me over the past year or two and my eyes have just been opened. I see him as a complete con artist. His ramblings are no longer amusing to me, and I hate his large lurch towards the left more than anything, I don't enjoy voting for Democrats if I don't have to. I think he's a terrible candidate and almost certainly a terrible person.

He's still better than Joe Biden, though.
