Gausman (one S) gave up 3 runs in 7inn. Our lineup scored 1 run.
Eades threw 2 innings giving up 4, and was pulled. Stony Brook had 15 hits vs our 3hits.
There was no excuse for that. The rain and playing a partial game and another one the same day factored in. What a mess that was.

I am pulling for an LSU vs Air Force final. It would be a pure class series to see that match-up. Skenes vs his old team would be a great story.

Stony Brook got lucky it poured rain during Gausemans half of 4 innings in a row and let up almost completely during the Stony Brook half of those innings.
Without that weather fluke, Gauseman holds them in check and LSU prevails.

As long as the SEC gets 6-8 Regional Host sites they will always dominate the CWS. It’s really hard to be good teams at home.
