Spin-Off Thread: Best Series Finales

Freaks and Geeks. A travesty that this didn't get more seasons, but what we did get was amazing.
The Leftovers. This one is semi-contriversial but I absolutely loved it. Showed that Damon Lindelof actually knows how to end a show and learned from his mistakes from LOST.
Black Sails. One part is slightly odd but so many characters arcs had a perfect ending and for me, it's the best final SCENE of any show.
Honorable mentions:
Six Feet Under It would be impossible to watch this and not love this ending.

The Newsroom
Vice Principles
The West Wing

People crap on LOST, but it’s finale was really well done IMO. There was no way to satisfy the fans who put so much thought and prediction into this extravagant theories. The producers screwed it in the credits though with the homage to the plane crash.
What LOST threads taught me is that we have way more creative people NOT in Hollywood…the tards go to Hollywood.

The Shield, as it provided a few big wham moments and payoffs for series long arcs.
One particular character getting a form of ironic Hell was probably the biggest thing, as he thought he got away with everything scot-free only to find that he is now toothless, chained to a desk, hated by everyone, and people are just waiting for him to step out of line to violate his immunity deal and go to jail (and possibly get executed).
