I lost interest somewhere along the way in killing Eve.
Looks like it's not worth finding my bookmark

Finale of Ozark was very underwhelming

Killing Eve & Lost for sure.
Scrubs did it right with one of the best ever at the end of S8 and then promptly fricked it all up with the walking abortion that was S9.

I’m a reader and have read many, many books. It is so much easier to write a compelling, interesting, great story than to end it.

As much as I hated the wrap on GOT, I still gotta say SEINFELD

How I Met Your Mother’s ending was so bad that it hurt the rewatchability of the entire show

Dexter…and then Dexter: New Blood
Having also lived through it, Seinfeld was so disappointing.
Can’t put GoT at the top because all of Season 8 was a shitshow, not just the finale.

This
The finale ruined literally the entire show. You can’t watch it anymore because of the “twist” at the end

the firm the movie ending was much better

I'll go to my grave swinging on people regarding both of these. It's just mindless parroting and regurgitation at this point. Even this quote from the landing page on the linked article "finales like Seinfeld fundamentally misunderstand the show they’re trying to wrap up, leading to an ending that leaves fans scratching their heads" is so fricking wrong I can't even bother to read any more of it.
-What was Seinfeld about as a show, during the course of it's 9 year run? Sure the easy answer is "a show about nothing" (which is kinda true in a sense) but it was always clear to avoid the after-school special messages or having everyone get married and have kids together. So in the finale what do we get? We get the gang stopped over in a small town making fun of an obese man and then having some crazy obscure law put them on trial for it. In doing so we get callbacks from tons of beloved characters we loved throughout the show. And not in a cheesy way like they're a new neighbor and we get tired of them quickly. It was in short, barely a miunute long bursts. Just enough to get us laughing again then they're off. People complain that it was hokey or lame but I thought it was great as an avid seinfeld fan to see sidra and babu and ms chote etc etc one last time. Then they're finally sentenced and our last shot is them in a cell just talkign abotu nothing. In fact, the last words of the show are Jerry talkign about George's shirt button being too high, and george saying "havent' we had this conversation before?", a nod to the fact that was the openign dialogue from the pilot eipsode. Full circle. Brilliant. I honestly quesiton what seinfeld-finale haters would have WANTED to see isntead. Them all make ti to cali and have a successful show and live happily ever after? That's not seinfled. At all.
-With LOST it's been so long since I've seen it (need OML to weigh in) but I recall that most people's complaints were "they didn't answer everythign!!!! ararrgghghh" which I take issue with. They didn't answer EVERY.SINGLE.LITTLE.MINUTE.THING but that doesn't matter since they answerd the stuff that was actually important. There were some little insignificant things that we enver really got an explanation on but none of them were crucial or integral to the actual story in any way. It'd be like getting yourself all flustered and in a tizzy for not knowing your favorite football teams' yards per rush by it's 3rd-5th string RBs while lined up in pistol formation on 2nd downs in September when the weather is in the 70s agaisnt teams wearing blue in stadiums with less than 90K people...instead of just appreciated the W/L record which is what actually matters. We got the resoluation on all our beloved characters and saw their ultimate fate. And if the final shot of the serires which mirrored the opening form the pilot with Jack closing his eye to die with vincent laying beside him while he sees the plane of his friends making their escape didn't have you bawling then you have no heart anyway!

The straight ending of LOST (Jack closing his eye) was perfect. However, I can certainly see the other side of it. It was a show- one of the first- built on watercooler word of mouth and its basis was solving the mysteries put forth. And I'm sorry, but they did a really lousy job of that.

Worst for me: Game of Thrones
Best for me: Newhart
When they made the whole series a dream, and he wakes up next to Susan Pleshette and the last thing he tells her is, "Go to sleep, Emily. You know, you really should wear more sweaters.” That is priceless.

No it wasn’t. It was the first of its kind of do this on the internet, though. You truly didnt experience LOST at its peak if you weren’t on message boards discussing fan theories. That was half the excitement

It wasn’t a very good episode. Hating the finale because it wasn’t a good episode is fine. Hating it because it wasn’t a good finale is less than fine.
They were all assholes and they finally got theirs. Good resolution, poor execution
