Kind of how I see it as well. I do not want to equate pedophiles to members of the Gay and Lesbian community, but there was a time in many of the posters here lives where the LG community was not protected, and the acts were illegal. Similar to this the act was kept illegal but persons protected until it was not. I once again want to re-iterate I am not saying the two groups are anything alike. I am just saying how one came to be legal is eerily similar to the other.
A prick being whipped out in a woman's locker room used to be illegal as well. Now we hear stories of HS and College parents being called out as intolerant when they raise an uproar over a transgirl watching their daughters shower and dress, or their daughters seeing them undress and shower. I think there are some true gigantic leaps like bottom surgery of per-pubescent children that are nothing but fear driven drivel. A state in the Union adapting their language in this way though makes the jump from protected to legal much less of a leap, and more of a hop that needs to be monitored and curtailed at all points possible.

One of my favorite things is watching Louisiana Republican legislators grovel and submit when a black Democrat demands DEI in state government and programs it funds.

Strong Republicans would be like "no thanks. we dont care about race. get lost" and wouldnt lose 1 vote. Yet here we are..
