Not really. I don't think the 2 sides have ever been at odds like this. All either side cares about is making the other look dumb. frick the people and the actual job their supposed to do.
Plenty of blame on both sides. Republicans are all about maga and just keep pushing half baked trump theories while democrats are LGBT obsessed.

Most politicians just do what they are told.
Most Democrat voters don't know what happened. Because their bubbles have conditioned them to believe that anything that comes from outside of their bubble... is a lie or rightwing conspiracy theory. It's not that they're dumb, it's just that their bubble is massive and it's filled with "trusted pillars of authority".
