Donna was a local anchor for many many years. Her husband is the weather man.

This is a local thing. The Jacksonville marathon is literally called the Donna run because of her. She’s a local celebrity. Couple that with the Republican not running a great campaign and a ton of R voters continuing to move towards St Augustine and Nocatee in St Johns county and this is what you get.

Not really. The county and the city are the same thing. Fewer than 250k people voted in total.
The R candidate wasn’t very dynamic. He’s not good in front of the camera.
The problem is that I think D will control city council too. I hope I’m wrong because this is a great city.
Donna is just an empty pant suit with zero experience doing anything other than read the news and break up marriages.
Hopefully her handlers don’t make her lurch too far left.
