The mind boggles.

Migrants? Well that's pretty easy. They came here to work and couldn't afford to take the entire family.

I'm totally against what is going on from a US policy point of view. We need stronger borders and we need controlled, legal access or none at all.

That said, its hard to get pissed at someone from another country who is desperate enough to leave his family and move away from home in order to support them. If the situation were reversed, you can bet your arse I would be trying to get to Mexico if it meant not living in abject poverty at home.

Just need to call it what it is, they’re economic migrants not women and children fleeing a shite hole country which is how it is largely portrayed in the media. AOC was balling her eyes out in her photo-op over “kids in cages” and not men looking for work.

Why do they need 37 rooms for 60 men. They are gonna live like 10-12 deep in whatever housing they get eventually anyway

Oh, without a doubt. And its a fricking disgrace that those men trying to make a living are being used as a pawns in this entire thing.

Turn them around at the border and/or round them up and send them back. If you are going to let them stay, give them a work visa and send them out on the street. There should be no middle ground here.

“We weren’t given any formal notice. We have not been treated with any respect and dignity in the situation," said Sean Plunkett, from Queens.

"Queens" (just the word alone associates with LIBERALNESS) need say more. apple won't fall from the tree no matter where the tree is. besides New York says it all those still there probably trapped and soon to be drinking the koolaid.

There has go to be more to this story. I know this industry very well, and no hotel is going to give away rooms and event money like this easily. The hotels require rooming lists and deposits (if there is event space and catering involved). Was there a problem meeting the deposit deadline? Who knows. Also, how many hotel rooms does the hotel have? They should be able to accommodate the wedding party and the immigrants at the same time. Something is fishy here..

Just went to website, and random Tues thru thurs in June are sold out (as well as other dates in the next two months). Looks like a LaQuinta from the outside. Not sure why you would get married or put guests there in the first place.

Just noticing she might be a perfect hight. For any color of the rainbow.

I just notice these things.
