Maybe a little but you know it’s deep down because he’s white. Embid is gonna get bounced in the second round. His season was unremarkable, just because he’s the top scorer doesn’t mean he’s MVP.

Jokic has 2 MVPs. Id rather him get a ring this year. Also Embiid did dominate (47 pts 18 rebounds 5ast) Jokic (24 pts 8 rebounds 9ast) when I watched them play each other this year so im fine with him getting 1 mvp out of the 3 between them.

There was always a limit to how much respect Jokic was going to get while the Nuggets simultaneously didn’t go deep in the playoffs.
Hopefully that changes this year. Statistically Jokic is in whatever tier sits below the Wilt only tier. If you can’t win rings people stop paying attention though

If a black center averaged what Jokic is doing, they’d be discussing him being the GOAT center ever, but Jokic is white, so he doesn’t get the credit. NBA is like a mountain; mostly black but white at the top.
