Sorry if already posted. I haven't seen it, so I thought I'd share this.
In case people are curious and want to read something about it, link to NY Post
From the article:
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald announced on Tuesday that his husband, Brazilian lawmaker David Miranda, has died at age 37 after battling a severe infection for most of the past year.
“It is with the most profound sadness that I announce the passing away of my husband,” Greenwald tweeted to his two million Twitter followers on Tuesday.
“He would have turned 38 tomorrow.”
Miranda, a native of Rio de Janeiro, was elected to Brazil’s federal congress in 2019. He is survived by Greenwald and their two adopted young sons.
Greenwald added: “His death, early this morning, came after a 9-month battle in ICU.”

Greenwald is one of the bravest journalists in the world, sorry that his family is dealing with this.

He had a stomach infection of some type. Not cardio related.

I like Greenwald, but he does not have a husband, that is impossible. I will still be praying for him.

That’s absolutely horrible. I had no idea he was even sick. I remember seeing Glenn and David on television taking care of all the dogs at the animal shelter and thinking they were really making a difference and putting their compassion into play.
RIP.
RIP.

Yes, his husband. I don't care who people choose to sign a marital contract with. As long as they are not mentally ill freaks swinging their privates at children at tranny story hour. Or men turning into women and competing with women in Sports giving an unfair advantage.
A true Christian loves everyone and does not judge. Yet calls out perversions.
I hope Ric Grenell is President one day. The ultra right whackjobs that grab pearls over him being gay are fake, pearl clutching whackadoodles.

Is someone that is a practicing open homosexual not "mentally ill" and "perverted"?

I was going to start a thread, but didn't really want to hear some homophobic nonsense. I saw that Snowden gave him a nice tribute.

Indeed.
We can all admire his professionalism in his craft while disagreeing with aspects of his personal life.

If someone dislikes the homosexual lifestyle, that doesn't mean that person fears them.
I think they need help and pray they get it.

Yes they are, it WAS Pandora's box. The gate way if you will.

Yes, his husband.
He did not have a husband, and this line of thinking that he can or did is similar to the idea Caitlyn Jenner is a woman.
He had a really good friend who he lived with, and cared for adopted children with, but they were not married by definition, and were incable of procreating. Homosexuality is an unnatural act that goes against biological nature.
The idea that homosexuality is somehow normal makes zero sense when you think about the entire reason for existence, life, and perpetuating the human race. I'm not saying people can't do what they want in their own bedrooms, but don't make me pretend this behavior is somehow "normal" or ok. It's not, it is a perversion, and I really don't understand why it is treated any different than transsexuals and beastiality, other than the fact it has become more mainstream.

He one of the best journalists on the planet and a good dude. Seeing him and his husband raise kids and do good in their community makes me re-think some prejudices about gays.

Just because someone is good or does good things, does not mean everything they do is moral or good.
Greenwald seems to be an overall good guy, means well, and is a great journalist.
This not change the fact that homosexuality is a perverted act and is not normal. This sounds cliche, but I do know a few gay people, and I don't yell at them about their behavior when I see them. I treat them with respect and love like anyone else. But I also will not condone this particular behavior they engage in, or ever pretend it is normal.
