I was at Express DMV first thing this morning and an elderly gentleman was at the window doing business. When it came time to pay, he didn't have any cash. No ATM card. Just a check. I could hear him saying his wife usually does all this but she had a stroke recently. He also mentioned he was a veteran but they aren't taking checks. Some Asian lady walked over with a big wad of cash and asked the gal how much he owed. 263.00. She paid it all, thanked him for his service and would not take his check. I only had 90.00 on me and wasn't sure how much I would need for my business. I wasn't sure about giving her a 20. Seemed small seeing that giant wad of 100's.

I needed to see it too. I've been under house arrest for 90 days recovering from surgery and feeling sorry for myself. I know there is a lot of bad shite going down. We hear about that every day. Asian lady probably owned a nail salon and raking in the cash.

Great story. I've done similar a couple of times, but usually just a couple of bucks type thing, but that does remind me that there are good people still out there.
