Start Money on Sundays. We’re going to score a lot too, and his guaranteed homer is better than the BB merry go round.

I would 100% take Money going 5 innings with 100 pitches and allowing 2 home runs every Sunday.

Seems like he leaves a lot of 2 strike hangers over the plate. That last out was drilled with 2 strikes but Crews was able to snag it.

He’s the only one who can give you the innings you need and if he’s on you get a quality start. But even if he goes 5 and gives up 3 you’re almost guaranteed to win the game.

If he can just eat up a few innings without getting completely shelled, I think you have to get him in on the weekends.

Check my work but I believe prior to the errors last inning Money had gone 5-6 innings without allowing a base runner and had another stretch recently of 3 innings without allowing a base runner. I know those are small samples but the other guys haven’t done anything close to that.

It seems like most the home runs he gives up are solo shots. Much rather see a solo shot a couple times a game than 10 walks

Money is going to get you a quality 3 innings at best. Second time through the line up creates problems.

Thing is the other 2 guys can’t get through the lineup once. Hurd has been solid last 2 outings but hasn’t faced 9 hitters in either.

BM is such an enigma IMHO.
With his size he should be throwing gas & have a wipeout breaking ball.

He’s tall with a more over the top delivery that’s easy to pickup when he’s up in the zone. When he keeps his FB low he’s fine. On the HR he missed with FB low then elevated the 3-1 FB and it got hit hard. Most of the night he located well and when he does that he gets quick outs in bunches.

Hurd’s problem hasn’t been that he gets knocked around it had been that he wasn’t throwing strikes. Hurd’s stuff is much better than Money.

Money has given up 6 homers in 26 innings, about 1 every 4 1/2 innings, Floyd has given up 9 in 53 innings, about 1 every 6 innings. Therefore, cut Money off after 3 innings, Floyd after 5. Problem solved

Been saying that for awhile. Money deserves a shot at it. He has been a guy for us before.
