Driveway/Concrete cleaner when pressure washer isn't available

Hey all. Just curious as to what the H&G Board thinks about driveway and concrete cleaners. Currently we do not have a pressure washer. Still researching and waiting to see if there are any price drops on certain models of pressure washers. In the meantime, are there any cleaning products that would work to help freshen up concrete that do not require a pressure washer?
I'm not expecting it to do the same job as a full on pressure clean, but at least an improvement from where we're currently at.

Find a friend or family member for a pressure washer. When I had a 4th of July party at a house we had just bought a few years ago my friends all came over with pressure washers the week before and knocked out my pool area, all the decks and even hit my driveway and sidewalks for me. I was reluctant to host because we just moved in and it needed some TLC and I was surprised at just how many people had them and they all said they don't get used enough. I only had a small one I washed cars with so it was great to have all the big nasties out there. We did some lite remodeling so the kitchen was still in progress and didn't even have countertops yet but it was a blast and we just through a sheet of plywood on top of one of the cabinet sections and did most of the stuff outside.

Muriatic acid works.

i find you mix soapy water and bleach together and then use a sprayer to coat the driveway after you first wet it down.
then let it sit for about 5 minutes and the water hose cleans it up nicely. most of the darkness goes away when the bleach hits it.

Better than a pressure washer, but it’s a ton of work.

I cleaned the coping on my pool with it but I would never want to clean an entire driveway with it. That stuff is nasty.

Yep, wear a mask too. That stuff burns when you inhale it.

I don't have time to use a pressure washer this weekend, the point of my post.

There are products like Spray and Forget.
You can get "chlorinating liquid" at a pool supply or Lowes/HD which is a stronger bleach.

You can buy a cheap but effective electric pressure washer for a hundred bucks... Put down bleach and dish soap mixture, let stand 10 minutes, Use electric PW to scrub clean. return to walmart if you are too cheap

I wasn't looking for a shortcut. Just something that can improve what I have going on now. I'll get to the full job when I have the time to get to it.

Get a pump sprayer and some concentrated bleach. Mix a solution with water and spray off the whole thing. Let it sit for a good 30 minutes and then wash it down.
Now, do the same thing with a pressure water later on and it will come out looking white as a ghost.
Let the bleach do the work for you each time. Don't rush letting it sit.

The best store bought outdoor spray in my opinion is "30 second outdoor cleaner". From both personal use and a youtube video I watched where a guy did a comparison with that one and a bunch of others like Jo max.

Takes a while but Wet and Forget works very well.
