I have yet to hear any information on the victims.

Me neither but he sent me a screen shot of the letter. Trust me I pray it’s wrong.
1 victim was a security Gaurd, 21 from Farmersville. It’s been on the news.

I dont really want to go searching and run to imagery I don't want to see but is there image confirmation of the supposed "Right Wing Death Squad" badge on his vest?

That’s heartbreaking.
Crazies and career criminals killing people who came to this country and have bettered themselves and those around them.

That's the guy who ran over the people, right? Not the shooter from the mall?
Edit:Im asking, not being argumentative. Is the picture of the guy who looks like he is sleeping the driver or shooter?

That’s the one my buddy sent me. That’s my bad I wrote the 2nd child was a son in the hospital.
So awful. Freaking 3 year old. A 5 year old orphan.

What’s this about? Is there a link? I’ve been trying to catch up with all this today. My kids were at the Ed Sheeran concert in Arlington last night with their mom. And my daughter just told me they took a shuttle to the show from their hotel, and the people they sat with had been at the Allen mall about an hour before the shooting. I was a nervous wreck just thinking about them being at such a big venue by themselves. If I had known about all of this beforehand, I would have had a heart attack worrying about them. WTF is going on in this world today?
I think the post is in the thread somewhere. It was a Twitter post by some guy claiming he was going to do it then kill the cops when they showed up. It was bizarre because the guys demeanor was way off… he acted like there were some definite mental health issues at play.

Stupid kids are calling around to schools and leaving VMs they are going to shoot ho the school today
Arlington, Frisco, Plano and Allen all have sent out letters. They also said they will excuse all absences today. What a world

There were social media posts made over the weekend threatening FISD high schools. Didn’t know about VMs. Yes, all absences excused today.
Grades are turned in tomorrow for my son and he’s already taken all his exams so I’m letting him stay home. He has one project to submit online at noon and he’s pretty much done for the year in his B classes (todays schedule).
Sucks for some bc AP exams are today for those on A schedule.

My kids are in Allen ISD and have Staar testing all week.

Ohhh, that stinks. Weird they are doing it so late. Ours did it last week but it probably makes sense to do it this week since all instruction is basically over for the year. Teachers have to submit all grades in FISD by tomorrow.
Likely the safest the schools will ever be today. Schools are already pretty locked down during testing anyway and now there will be extra security.

I saw this on the news this morning. It was pretty sad hearing someone who was on the scene talk about how he saw a child covered in blood telling people, his mother, who was a victim and killed, was hurt.
Im not going to sit here and repeat the same stuff that is said over and over after every mass shooting, but we live in a time where its easier than ever to keep track of someone's behavior, etc, etc yet this happens more and more. If the government is spying on us, they sure are doing a piss poor job.

Not if the government is perfectly fine with these events taking place!!
Or maybe they’re just so incompetent they can’t effectively prevent these attacks.

I don’t have the answers but these politicians have to put pride aside and figure this out.
Nobody ever wants to give an inch. People also want to act like the bill of rights are the gospel and never should be edited. It was made 250 years ago when the most dangerous gun was a musket.
Things change people. It’s ok to adapt to change.
